Personal Philosophy
My personal nursing philosophy would be to assist those in need in your community with care and compassion with the most up-to-date knowledge. I first became intrigued with nursing as a little girl watching my grandmother who was a registered nurse. She was a Navy nurse and then later worked for a physician in her small town in West Texas.  I always admired her caring and compassionate nature and willingness to help anyone in need.  Being a nurse myself in a small community I see firsthand the difference you can make in a person’s life.  As nurses, many times we get into a routine and forget that our "patient" is an actual person.  I would say my philosophy as a nurse is to always treat your patients as you would want to be treated with the care and compassion that you would expect your family member to receive
